What to wear!

What do I wear!? Ahh, the famous question. As a photographer this is the most asked question I hear from my customers. Your pictures are an investment, these are your memories and your loved ones, you definitely want to take the time to carefully pick out your outfits. How do you pick out what to wear? First you need to decide on colors. There is always the traditional black and white. Then there is my friend the color wheel! Take a good look and pick out your favorite colors and their coordinating colors. Do not jump from one side to the other, keep the colors you pick on the same side. Use accessories to tie in other colors like sweaters, scarves, hats, belts, bows, flowers, tights, shoes....oh I could go for days! You see my point right? Be bold, but most importantly be comfortable. Think about how you will feel when posing for pictures. Are you going to worry about a shirt that is too low cut, or jeans that are too tight? You might be bending over, squatting, sitting, and leaning...with me anything is possible so be comfy. The best way to get going is window shop. Check out some of your favorite stores and find out whats trendy and new. Start there and then begin blending everything together.
