Alexis - 2 Months

What an angel!! I can't believe Alexis is already 2 months old. If you couldn't tell she's precious...and likes to sleep a lot!!

The First Date...Alexis and Ryder

Ryder and Alexis sitting in a tree....ok maybe not but these babies sure are cute!! My best friend from forever ago had her baby girl one month apart from Ryder. Maybe they will be best friends or maybe we'll arrange their marriage, needless to say they are going to grow up together just like Deidra and I did. We call this their first date, Alexis wore her pretty little dress and Ryder wore his tie for the occasion. I can't wait to see these two grow up together...the thought just makes me so happy and blessed.

The Bourgeois Family

I have known these parents for a very long time. I won't go into depth because then I really begin to feel my age but lets just say we have a ton of memories that go way back. To see this family grow over the years has been so amazing. What a blessing to have 4 beautiful healthy children. It doesn't hurt when the parents are good looking too!! It was so awesome to everyone again, I really hope they are able to visit Texas more often!

Ryder...my new angel

On June 25th Ryder Warren blessed our family with his arrival!! His actual due date was July 12, although his scheduled delivery was July 2. Much like his mom, he was a bit impatient and apparently couldn't wait to join our family! Ryder was born 7lbs 2ozs and 21 inches long...big boy for being so early!! Unfortunately right after delivery he was diagnosed with RDS (Respiratory Distress Syndrome). This was something very common with repeat C-Sections and poor Ryder had to spend a week in NICU. Not what I saw coming but thankfully he received excellent treatment to strengthen his lungs. He was able to come home on July 3!! Finally after our minor hiccup our family was whole!

Sweet Baby Alexis - Sneak Peek

Even though I am about to pop, I just couldn't resist taking pictures of baby Alexis. Mom and Dad have waited patiently for her to arrive and come home after being born premature, and this little diva deserved a photo shoot. I can't tell you how excited I am that this angel has finally arrived! Aside from being the cutest little bug I have ever seen, she is a blessing to us all who will watch her grow. I am so honored to be her aunt! I can't wait to experience first hand all the wonderful moments she will have in her life.

It's ME....and the BELLY

It's been a wonderful adventure. I think it is safe to say that I've enjoyed pregnancy much better the second time around. I'm not sure why, but it has been a near effortless pregnancy and I've completely embraced my growing belly. Perhaps it's because I know what to expect. I can't wait for our new blessing to arrive, it's right around the corner. In preparation I wanted to let all my wonderful customers new and old know that I will be taking some time off starting in June and returning hopefully in July. I'm certain I'll be eager to get back up and running; if you have a need book your session now! Thank you for all your support it has been an amazing year thus far. I can't wait to announce the arrival of our son Ryder in July!
